Job Description: Practice Support Executive
Technical Advisor to Accountancy Practices

1. Leadership of or Responsible for:

• Provision of technical practice support services to OmniPro clients.
• Provision of technical support services to OmniPro Practice Support

2. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support services to accountancy practices in the areas of auditing & financial reporting.
• Performing annual compliance reviews.
• Conducting hot & cold file reviews.
• Providing in house training for accountancy practices in auditing & financial reporting.
• Providing support services to OmniPro Practice Consulting Department.
• Providing client support services for OmniPro Practice Support.
• Liaising with clients to identify & define their requirements.  
• Creating new tools to support accountants practically & technically.
• Development of technical templates, tools & resources.
• Writing technical articles for AccountingNet.ie.

4. Qualifications Required:

• Professional Accounting Qualification

In addition a qualification in one of the following areas would prove desirable

• Financial Reporting
• Taxation

5. Experience Required:

• Top 20 Audit Experience
• Minimum of 3 Years PQE
• Presenting & Public Speaking Experience
• Experience of Large & SME Auditing
• Consulting Experience

6. Role Location:

This is a nationwide role which will see successful candidates visit client premises through out Ireland. When not engaged in a client facing capacity, the role will be based between our Carlow & Dublin offices. Once the role has been established there may also be the opportunity to work form a home office in certain circumstances.

7. Salary Range: €45,000 - €70,000 DOE + On Target Earnings Bonuses

Terms & Conditions

1.      If a candidate has already submitted their CV to us then you are not entitled to claim the Recruitment Referral Bonus.

2.      If a candidate has already been nominated by another party only the first nomination will be entitled to claim the Recruitment Referral Bonus.

3.   A Candidate is deemed to be entered only when a full CV including contact details are submitted to careers@omnipro.ie

4.      The payment of the Recruitment Referral Bonus will be made in 2 parts

o        1st payment of €1,250 when candidate commences employment

o        2nd payment of €1,250 after 6 months of continuous employment with OmniPro.
